Birdsong

Myerscough's welcome Birdsong pavilion a freestanding framed structure sits in front of the historic building and filled with scented planting, placards and activist messages attracting birds and bees and human visitors.

Placard words from workshops with the local community discussing how important nature is to their lives and the future of our world. The materiality of the pavilion was an essential consideration for this installation a Bamboo structure, a sustainable material source (has now been installed in a permanent location), the coloured panels from my Agape and movement cafe installation and returned to me. All the plants were planted in my garden and thriving.

Assemble in the Forest is an invitation to come together and celebrate the beauty and biodiversity of Bath and once again to showcase the imagination of our community. In addition, it provides an opportunity to shine a light on the importance of forests across the world and what they mean to us in Bath, especially in response to the climate emergency.
